PATCH 3.2 - THE END IS NEAR?
By now I'm sure you have read the patch notes for 3.2. And while we all rejoice in getting Epic Mounts at 40 - this patch casts a dark shadow over the entire 40-49 pvp experience. When the patch goes live - players will now be awarded Experience for completing objectives and actions that yield honor. Along with this, Blizzard has given twinks a method to TURN OFF EXPERIENCE GAIN in the game for that character. But once you flip that switch, you will now ONLY compete against others who have turned their XP off (other 49 twinks) in Battlegrounds.
But what does this really mean? It means that in ALL Battlegroups - the 40-49 twink bracket is in danger of suffering a massive decrease in the number of games that pop for us each day. Do not have any illusions about the impact of this. 49 is historically a less populated twink bracket than the 3 beneath us - and without non-twink players to fill in the missing spots to get WSG and AB games popping ... even the more twink-saturated Battlegroups are likely to hurt badly from this.
A NEW HOME
To guarantee survival - we must consolidate. Group up onto a single playing field where our numbers will nurish ONE Battlegroup with our optimal activity. And that one Battlegroup is RUIN. At present time, RUIN is without a doubt the most populated 49 twink Battlegroup in all of US WoW. In addition, RUIN servers and BG servers are physically located in a central datacenter (more information here). Transfers have already started pouring into Ruin after some forum blasts went out to every Battlegroup's WoW forums, Twink Info, and 49twinks.com. I encourage everyone who enjoyed pvp at level 49 to deeply consider transferring to a Ruin server so that we can ensure our survival and continue to flourish as a community.

They're doing a great job of maintaining a directory of all active guilds on each server and can help find a great fit for you or your guild. Also, we advise you contact the guilds directly to get information on their recruitment policies and recruitment status.
